Babysitting with My Scooter

My sister had surgery on her back a few weeks ago....so taking care of her two little ones is difficult for her while she is recouping.

I told her "Maybe we two handicapped people can work together to try to corral them"....but I think they corralled us instead...
they wore us out!

It was fun to play with them....and it is nice to know....that I could help her out...some.

looks like you were all three having fun...and a great thing you could help with those little ones. hard enough being a mom without the addition of surgery.

Always great knowing that one is exhausted due to activity and not just fatigue caused by the MS. Sounds like you had a fabulous time.

They are very cute! And I love the picture! I know what you mean, a day with our granddaughter really tires me out. She wants to be doing something fun EVERY minute!! As soon as one thing is done she asks "What will we do now?" It is sad to me that I cannot remember a time like this for me, I need frequent rests. Or should I say frequent business in between my rests!

The average child needs 3-4 adults to care for them. Then they wake up from a nap and many more are needed.

LOL...kids can be a handful sometimes.

That must have been hard work for you both. Bravo for managing so well.

Hi Kim - oh my, you look wonderful. And as a grandma, I cried and laughed for many reasons-truths-realities.
Love and hope for us all

I imagine you had a great time but, knowing what my 3 grandsons do over the course of an afternoon, you must be exhausted!

Hey Kim!
Kids love the scooter don't they? My daughter and her family are giving Alaska a try and living here until they have a home of their own, I don't have a personal scooter but man they love to ride with Grandma at the grocery store!

The kids probably enjoyed riding on the scooter more than you think.
Kids seem fascinated & eager to sit in my wheelchair!
