My Mountain Ride Down Memory Lane

After a fun day visiting my sisters.....we decided to ride down to Tumbling Creek.

See below how I enjoyed the beauty that I grew up with.....

love the light

I enjoyed showing my daughter this beauty!

my sister Jill took pics with her cell
as she drove carefully down a dirt road

moss covered rocks are so pretty

Love old buildings

this is where I was baptized at in 1970.....
It is very cold water
even in the summer!

You were lucky to grow up in such a lovely, green place as Tumbling Creek.
The picture with the moss covered stones, and the last one with the creek are very eye-catching!

I LOVE places like this. The first couple of photos confused me until I realized I was seeing reflections in the water. I'm a little slow sometimes. :) What a beautiful place, and what wonderful memories you must have of it...especially the baptism.

Looks like a great place, but as one with MS I have a problem with anything called "Tumbling Creek." Looks like lots of stuff to trip over!
The shack reminds me of my apartment in college!
Great stuff..thanks for letting us ride along.
